Billiards has a rich history and cultural significance that extends beyond just being a game. It is often associated with strategy, skill, and elegance, attracting players from various walks of life. The idea for Peaky Sticks Billiards Academy was born in 2018, when two passionate billiards enthusiasts realized a significant gap in Los Angeles - there was no club where players could enjoy a high-quality experience on professional-grade tables. Their shared love for pyramid billiards and the lack of a suitable venue sparked the vision to create the professional billiards club that would redefine the sport’s perception in California.

By the end of 2022, the plan to launch a professional billiards club was set into motion. The journey to bring this vision to life was extensive, involving a meticulous search for the perfect location, equipment procurement, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

• 2023: A 10-month search for the ideal venue led to visits to over 50
  different locations across Los Angeles.
• Equipment Sourcing: Premium billiards tables and accessories were
  carefully selected in Ukraine, shipped to the U.S. in a dedicated container,
  cleared through customs, and stored in Los Angeles.
• Lease Agreement: The perfect space was secured, marking a
  significant milestone in the project.
• Renovations & Setup: Construction work began, followed by the
  installation of top-tier billiards equipment to ensure an unparalleled
  playing experience.
• February 2024: The club held its soft opening, welcoming the first
  players to experience the space.
• March 2024: The official grand opening, marking the beginning of
  a new era for billiards in Los Angeles.
• April 2024: The first tournament was successfully organized,
  setting the stage for competitive and community-driven events.

• Building a Community: Over 20 tournaments (10 pyramid and 10 pool)
  were held, alongside the development of a loyalty program to enhance
  the player experience.
• Business Events & Entertainment: More than 20 business-themed
  events were hosted, catering to various industries and professionals.
• Film Production: A major billiards film was shot at the club, involving
  a production team of over 50 people.
• Celebrations: Numerous birthdays and private events were held,
  making Peaky Sticks Billiards Academy a go-to venue for special occasions.
• Live Sports Broadcasts: More than 20 major fight nights were
  streamed, attracting large crowds. Notably, the Usyk vs. Fury 2 boxing
  match drew an audience of over 220 guests.
• December 2024: The club played a key role in establishing the first
  American Billiards Pyramid Federation (ABPF).
